Show Your Pride!

Background

In 2023, Montgomery County Department of Health & Human Services and Office of Community Partnerships issued a county-wide call to artists and designers to create the official Montgomery County Pride window decal. Of the many amazing submissions, two designs were chosen and made into decals.

Beginning in May of 2024, Montgomery County will distribute free decals to interested businesses, non-profits, county government entities, and other establishments operating storefronts anywhere in the county. Individuals who would like a decal for personal use may pick one up at Montgomery County Pride in the Plaza on June 30th, 2024 12 pm-8 pm in Veterans Plaza in Downtown Silver Spring. The 4"x3" window decals can be used outdoors or indoors, double-sided, easy to apply, and remove without leaving any residue.

By placing this decal in your storefront, you are joining in a county-wide effort to:

• Show LGBTQIA+ community members that they are welcome in your business or organization

• Create a network of safe and affirming spaces for LGBTQIA+ community members

• Continue learning about ways to become safer and more affirming to LGBTQIA+ communities"
